The Division of
Cardiology at Department of Pediatrics is a leader in pediatric cardiology
and cardiac surgery, and has pioneered treatments that have dramatically
improved the survival rate for fetuses, infants, children, teens and adults
with congenital or acquired heart defects.
Despite treating some
of the toughest cases seen, the division has the highest success rate for
cardiac surgery among large pediatric cardiac centers.
