The strength of the Department of
Pediatrics rests in part on the broad range of subspecialties, related
programs and affiliates at the Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center and at other locations.
Seventeen
pediatric subspecialties and a
diversity of specialized programs span the
range from basic research to top-level clinical care. Close-knit
relationships between these subspecialty programs ensure a
cross-pollination of expertise that
fosters stronger research and patient care. Many of our
faculties are both clinical practitioners and
researchers that allows delivery of care to take the latest medical
advances directly into practice.
Departmental affiliates like the
Montefiore Medical Center
and the Albert Einstein College of Medicine have long-standing
national reputations for excellence.
At our core facilities center at the
Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center,
multiple programs have stellar international reputations and continually
break new ground.
Leading advances in the care of children can be traced directly to the
outstanding faculty of the Department of Pediatrics at Bronx-Lebanon
Hospital Center. The Department of Pediatrics has more than 25 paid faculties, from instructor to full
professor, and over 43 volunteer clinical
faculty members.
