Welcome to the website of Department
of Pediatrics at Bronx-Lebanon hospital Center.
Bronx-Lebanon has a long tradition of
excellence in Pediatrics. It provides comprehensive pediatric care and
support for the South-Bronx Community. Our department has approximately 45
full-time faculty and another 20 part-time faculty, highly recognized and
experienced for their diagnosis, treatment and care of such diseases as
Diabetes, Behavioral & growth Disorders, Childhood Cancers, Asthma and
diseases of the newborn, as well as many other disorders.
Our department highly encourages its
faculty and staff members to pursue diverse scholarly interests in an
atmosphere of collaborative interaction, unraveling newer tracers and
research to better serve our community.
The Department of Pediatrics also has
a long tradition of excellence in the education of pediatricians. Our
Residency Program is fully accredited and focuses on providing residents
with a comprehensive and diverse experience. Medical School students rotate
through the department of pediatrics to gain first-hand experience in a
community-based hospital setting and a distinguished faculty, who are
available as mentors to any level of trainees.
Located within the Bronx-Lebanon
Hospital Center's main building at 1650 Grand Concourse, the department of
pediatrics provides modern medical and clinical facilities to the
South-Bronx community.
